we are thinking of going to one of the water parks, my children are 5 & 3 which one do you suggest, Typhoon or Blizzard

    Hi there Marion!

One of the first water parks I ever visited was Typhoon Lagoon when it first opened! I do love a great water slide and both Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach have amazing theming and slides! I have both a nine and five year old but they have both been to each water park and each loves a little bit of both. I personally think Blizzard Beach would be a great park for both of your kids because I think it's kids area has a little bit more that Typhoon Lagoon..

I'm not knocking Typhoon Lagoon because it's MY favorite and the wave pool is fantastic! It's just my opinion with the kids areas...

At Blizzard Beach there are two separate areas where the kids can play. Ski Patrol Training Camp
and Tike's Peak. My son had a great time at the Tike's Peak area but graduated to the Ski Patrol Training Camp area after an hour or so of doing the little slides. So, for a three and five year old I think they would really enjoy some fun in the Tike's Peak area and maybe when the five year old gets the nerve, he/she can move to the Ski Patrol Training Camp with dad...

By the end of the day my five year old was riding all of the adult rides he was tall enough to ride! I hope this helps with your planning. Thanks so much for asking the Moms Panel. Have a great time at the Walt Disney World Resort!!
