Thinking of going to Mickey's Halloween party this year... My question is: If we are already inside the park for the day, do we have to leave and line up for the Halloween event or are we allowed to stay inside the park without leaving?

Greetings, Melissa! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Mickey’s Halloween Party is bundles of spooktacular fun, so I’m really excited that you will be participating this year! If you will already be in Disneyland Park on the day you are attending the party, there is no need to exit and re-enter. There are usually Cast Members at small stations around the park that can distribute wristbands to party-goers. Look for these stations about three hours before the party is set to begin. In years past, there has been a place in Frontierland to obtain wristbands, but I’m not sure yet where these will be located this year. Just ask a Cast Member the day you are in the parks and they will be more than happy to direct you to the right location.

If you are enjoying the Halloween decorations and overlays in Disney California Adventure Park before Mickey’s Halloween Party begins, it’s possible that wristbands may be distributed there. If not, when you hop over to Disneyland Park to enjoy the party festivities, you will receive a wristband when you enter the park. Then it’s time to enjoy trick-or-treating, the ride of the Headless Horseman, the Frightfully Fun Parade, and the Halloween Screams: A Villainous Surprise in the Skies!

I hope your visit to the Disneyland Resort is full magic, memories, and maybe a little mischievous merriment this Halloween season!
