We are thinking of maying watching the 3:00 parade near the train station instead. Can we sit up on the platform? What time will the 3:00 parade go by there? Thank you.

Hi Lisa! Oh dear I was thinking how yummy it would be to watch the parade and eat some ice cream when you mentioned standing in front of the ice cream shop on Main Street. But the train station is another awesome parade viewing spot in the Magic Kingdom! Instead of ice cream you can stop and buy a bucket of popcorn at the stand just to the right and enjoy that treat instead!

Guests are welcome to stand  up at the train station to watch the parade. Please be aware that at many times there will be special groups reserving that area so it might be blocked to park guests during a parade.  If this is the case then be prepared to have a second choice for a viewing spot.  Any place on Main Street in that area will be awesome!

Since the parade will likely start from this area you will view it immediately. At different times Disney can reverse the direction of a parade so this cannot be guaranteed.  If it does start in Frontierland then it will take about 18-20 minutes for it to reach the Town Square area.

Enjoy....any Disney parade is worth a wait!
