We're thinking about making reservations at the Sci-Fi Restaurant. We have 6 in our party (4 adults, a 4-yr-old & an infant). Will we all fit in one 'car'? The pictures I've seen don't look like there is room for that many or that you would face each o

    Hi Laura,

My family of seven required two cars when we ate at the Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater Restaurant. You are correct that you wouldn't be facing each other if you wanted a car, as the seats face the movie screen. Depending on the physical size of the people in your party, you might be able to squeeze into a car together with the 4-year old between two of you and the infant between the other two adults. You would have a bit of tight fit though and it probably wouldn't be very comfortable. This restaurant really isn't conducive to conversation or visiting with each other due to the layout of the tables. There are some regular tables at the back of the restaurant which may be a better option for your party size. Those are not "cars" though, which somewhat defeats the purpose of dining there in my opinion. I feel the cars are a lot of the appeal of this restaurant.

While it was fun to experience once, my family has opted to dine elsewhere on every trip since 2004 since our family doesn't really fit well there.

Wishing you a wonderful vacation. Please let me know if I can help you further,
