I was thinking about making reservations for dinner for the Cape May Cafe. It says that it is a beachside clambake. Then I found out it is a buffet. Is there more to it? Is there a 'beach'? My kids are 10 and 11. Am I reading more into it than it is?

    Hi There!

Apologies for the confusion!  The Cape May Cafe features a New England-style Clambake (served as a buffet) for dinner every evening.  It's held indoors at the Beach Club Resort (which is why you might have assumed it was at a beach.)  My family has eaten here several times, and been very happy.  There are plenty of options for non-seafood eaters (including a great Prime Rib, ribs and chicken) , a seafood buffet (with peel and eat shrimp, clams and mussels) and fabulous desserts!  Outside the Beach Club is a lovely beach area your family can enjoy after dinner if you chose to.  The resort is located on the Boardwalk, which features amazing nightly entertainment and shopping.

I think Cape May it's a great value for the price and a fabulous meal.

    Have a great trip!
