Thinking of land and Sea (DVC points for resort) cash for cruise. Any suggestion if better to park first since cruise is more relaxed? Resort one day after cruise prior to flights out or easy to go from ship to airport?

Parking at Port Canaveral is very convenient. And it is nice to be on your own schedule for arriving the Port. Just consider how many are in your traveling party when figuring out the cost. To park, it'll cost gas over to the Port which is about an hour drive. Plus the daily parking fee which is currently $15 per day. Will you be embarking on a short voyage or 7 nights or longer? Take into consideration the cost vs. convenience.

Disney Cruise Line transportation currently costs $69 per person, round-trip. DCL transportation is very convenient as far as taking care of your luggage and getting you to the ship in time to board prior to the time staterooms are ready at 1:30 p.m.

Should you visit Walt Disney World or cruise first? I would definitely visit WDW first, if possible. The cruise is more relaxing, however late nights staying up to enjoy deck parties and intensive shore excursions can also tire a family as well.

It is very easy to go from the ship to the airport. However, my family has also returned to WDW after a cruise as well. In fact, for two different cruises we first went to WDW for 3 days, then cruised for 3 nights, then returned to WDW for a few nights. This was one of our best vacations because we felt like we were on vacation for an extended amount of time.

The most important factor is to NOT fly in the day of your cruise. Delays can and do occur. Why start your vacation stressed? Arrive early and enjoy no worries! Bon voyage.
