Thinking about going to the Jingle Bell, Jingle Bam Holiday Dessert Party. Do you sit during the show or do you only get to sit while you are eating and how long is the show? Are there any discounts for DVC members or annual passholders?

    Hi Julie,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thank you for your question. Last year, I watched Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM! with my fellow Moms Panelists, and my dear friend Ashley P. grabbed my hand and said to me, “Robyn, you are just like Joy from Inside Out!” That show just brings the biggest smile to my face, along with all the festive feelings! It’s magic.

Julie, a quick caveat that I’m answering this question based on what was true for last year – the first party is November 6, so we won’t have exact details until then. Here’s what I do know: if the Gingerbread Martini is back at the party this year, I need you to order two (one for you and one for me, please). It was so good! I also loved the warm chocolate cake with “candy cane dust” (in my mind: Christmas pixie dust) sprinkled on top.

Last year there was seating during the dessert portion of the Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM! Holiday Dessert Party, but it is first come, first served, so be prepared that you may be standing at a tall table. The fireworks viewing area does not offer seating, other than on the ground. I’ve been in this viewing area twice, and one time everyone sat on the ground, which my family loved, but the other time everyone stood. Sitting or standing, it’s a spectacular location for viewing the show, which I remember being about 15 minutes long.

I searched both the Annual Passholder and Disney Vacation Club discount pages, and at this time I do not see any discounts for the party. I recommend calling (407) WDW-DINE to make your reservation, and asking about any possible discounts at that time.

Julie, I hope you have the best time during your holiday visit to Walt Disney World!

Wishing you a merry and magical vacation,
    Robyn
