We are thinking of head down 11/3 to 11/8 do you have any idea if the Christmas decoration would be up by then. If not when is a safe time to head down to see the Christmas Decorations and when the parks are not as crowded?

    Hi David!

Thanks for asking such a great question!  The dates for putting up the Christmas decorations in Walt Disney World for 2013 have not been announced yet.  I can tell you that the Magic Kingdom was decorated by November 9th, 2012 because that was the date of the first Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party for 2012 and I was there with my son.  The Resorts were not finished with their Christmas Decorations until the next week in 2012.  Typically all the Christmas decorations are up by the middle of November and they are definitely all up by Thanksgiving.  Mid November to the week before Thanksgiving and the week after Thanksgiving to December 16th are great times to go down to see the incredible Christmas decorations in Walt Disney World with lower crowds.  Don't forget to visit the Resorts, especially the Monorail Resorts and Wilderness Lodge to see the Christmas decorations in the lobbies!

I hope that you create some magical, Christmas memories on your next Walt Disney World vacation!

    Keep Dreaming Big!
