We are thinking about having our next trip April 29-May 5 2014. Easter is on April 20th next year. Will the crowds still be crazy from the Easter holiday?

    Hi there Holly,

April is actually one of the busier months at the Disney Parks since many US schools will be observing Spring Break and because of this, the crowd levels can unfortunately be a little more elevated than normal.  This has never stopped me from visiting during April and I've never found the crowds to be overwhelming or unmanageable.  In fact, I'll be there during the same time again this year!

Since Easter falls a little earlier next year, the last week of April will most likely have calmed down a bit and the crowds will probably have tapered down quite a bit due to the fact that many schools will have resumed.  Just in case, it's a good idea to have your days planned out ahead of time.  Decide which parks you plan to see on which days and have a list of which attractions you MUST see.  A spreadsheet works great for this!  I also recommend planning to arrive super early each day and to be sure to take breaks in order to recharge!  I always plan to eat at least one sit down meal per day which serves as a wonderful opportunity to relax and take it easy before heading out to explore again!

    Best Wishes,
