My SO and I are thinking of having dinner at 50’s Prime Time Cafe on our next visit, but don’t necessarily want to make a reservation. Is the Tune In Lounge super busy-should we just do a walk-in there? Or is it worth making the reservation @ Prime Time?

    Hi Lindsay!

50's Prime Time Café is such a fun and unique dining experience because it's an opportunity to enjoy some tasty comfort food. But you definitely want to mind your manners and eat all of your veggies if you want dessert!

Tune-In Lounge is the perfect place to get an incredible adult beverage and enjoy the tasty food from 50's Prime Time Café. Seating at Tune-In Lounge can be very limited, especially on a busy day. However, we have successfully found a spot at the bar on past trips to enjoy an adult beverage or a meal. So if you are patient and flexible, then Tune-In Lounge is a perfect way to enjoy an awesome comfort food dinner and chat with the fun bartenders during your visit. However, if you have a tight vacation schedule or if the food from 50's Prime Time Café is on your "must-do" list for your vacation, then I recommend that you make a reservation for your meal. Since Walt Disney World Resort table service restaurants are very busy and very popular, I always recommend making a dining reservation to enjoy their fantastic dining experiences!

For a sweet treat at Tune-In Lounge, I recommend the Peanut Butter & Jelly Milk Shake. Let us know if we can help you again as you continue planning your trip. T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
