    I am thinking of getting a yearly pass but am not going till Oct and again in Dec. If I purchase it now would it be activated now or would it be activated when I go in Oct? Can I take advantage of the hotel discounts if I wait? how does it work?

    We've been annual passholders at Walt Disney World for almost 20 years and love having year-round access to the Magic! 

    You can purchase your annual passes in advance, but the clock on your passholder year does not start until the day of first use at a theme park. Besides saving money on admission, an annual pass offers special discounts on lodging, merchandise and lots of other benefits. Once you have purchased your annual pass, you should be able make a resort reservation with the passholder discount. Just make sure you link your pass information in your My Disney Experience account.

    If you have any problems with making a discounted reservation online, I suggest you call Walt Disney World at (407) 939-5277 and a cast member should be able to assist you.
