Hi, we are thinking of getting a resort mug. We are staying at the Waldorf Astoria so won’t be able to use it there. Where can we use them at Disney? We plan to have breakfast and dinners Disney hotels most days as well as the parks. Thanks

    Hi Sophie!
    Welcome back to planDisney.

I love using the Disney Rapid Fill Refillable Mugs!  One of the first things I do when I arrive at my hotel is to purchase a new one because - and this is a very badly kept secret - I drink enough coffee to sink a ship!  It's worth every cent for me, and for every guest who uses one.  If you scroll down to the end of this menu for a Roaring Fork (a Quick-Service restaurant at Disney's Wilderness Lodge) you can see the prices for fountain drinks if you purchase individually.  Coffee is $3.79 (individual cup, price subject to change), so by Day 2 of my holiday, all my drinks are paid for!

These refillable mugs can be used for unlimited refills of select fountain drinks, including sugar-free versions, and hot drinks such as tea, coffee, and hot chocolate.  It's also worth noting that you will find a sink next to all the beverage stations to rinse your mug before your next refill. They are valid for the length of your stay, up to 14 days, for around $21.99 (this price is always subject to change), so I recommend you buy yours at the earliest opportunity.

You may refill them at the beverage stations at any Disney Resort hotel, usually located at the Quick Service Restaurants.  If you have a dining reservation at a Table Service Restaurant there are no free refills available there, but you can visit the nearest Quick Service Restaurant to fill your mug before your meal and take that with you to your table.  I would also pop back to the Beverage Station for another refill before you leave each Disney Resort.

There are currently no refill stations for these mugs at the Walt Disney World Resort theme parks, but you can, of course, carry your refillable mugs with you as they are easily transportable with lids that clip shut, and because they have handles you could use a carabiner clip to attach them to a bag.  You are also very welcome to refill them at the water fountains or ask for a cup of free iced water at any Quick-Service location at the theme parks.

The water parks - Disney's Typhoon Lagoon and Disney's Blizzard Beach - both offer the purchase of a different mug for unlimited refills of soda for use during a day at the water park.

Please come back and visit us if you have any further questions.  You can also send a question directly to me if you wish.  We will be very happy to help you.
