Hi Crystal!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! What a magical year you and your family will have if you decide to purchase Platinum Passes. I especially love the added bonus of Disney's
PhotoPass downloads; my family looks at our magic shots and ride photos all the time so we can relive our favorite moments.
Crystal, there are many attractions in the four theme parks that you’ll be able to ride together with your 5- and 7-year olds. The Walt Disney World
park rules do allow for a child over 7 to ride unaccompanied, but I completely get it, as I have a child who meets the age requirements but is just not comfortable riding without a family member. There are a few attractions you won’t be able to ride because of this, but tons of others that will be just fine. You can always check in with the Cast Member at the start of the queue and they can advise as to seating configurations, and this
list of attractions is a helpful resource, as it tells you height requirements and also includes pictures. Bench-seat style attraction seating, such as that on Peter Pan’s Flight, Haunted Mansion, and countless others will likely accommodate the three of you. Boat attractions, such as Jungle Cruise and Frozen Ever After, and larger vehicle attractions, such as Kilimanjaro Safaris and DINOSAUR will also work for your group of three. (And that’s just to name a few!)
Also, don’t forget about the many other amazing
experiences at Walt Disney World that you will be able to take in as a group of three: character greetings, parades, nighttime spectaculars, and shows. Let the magic begin!
