We were thinking about getting a Kindle Fire for our upcoming Disney World trip. We will use it to take pictures and access the Disney Experience App. Does the WiFi work well in Disney?

Hi, Emily!  In my experience, the WiFi can be a bit hit or miss in the theme parks.  I find the access a little bit slow while I am in the parks, There have even been occasions where the service drops, so if you are desperately needing something on My Disney Experience, it may be a bit frustrating.

Having said that, I take screen shot of my reservations and FastPass+ times, so I have easy access to them.  I've also learned that it may not be fast, but patience is a virtue.  I have almost always gotten what I needed, just maybe not quite as quickly as I'd like.

I find the resort WiFi a bit easier to contend with.  You'll find access in all of the public spaces, like hotel lobbies and restaurants, to be pretty decent.  That can be great if you're trying to send photos of the family with a character home to grandparents or attempting to post on social media.

So, not a rave review, but it does work well enough.

    Good luck!
