Hi - thinking of getting character autographs on a t-shirt rather than a book. Which works better for signatures, a Sharpie or fabric pen? I've seen references to each in past posts. Any other tips for signing on shirts to make this work well? Thx!

    Hi there, Leslie!

I really love the idea of getting Character autographs on a t-shirt or pillowcase because I think it's really fun for kiddos to wear/use their souvenirs, especially when they're autographed!

I find that while fabric markers work pretty well, I really prefer Stained by Sharpie™. These brush-tip fabric markers are really awesome because they're specifically made for fabric, where I've found that the regular Sharpie markers fade in the wash over time. If you let the Characters know that it's a brush tip before they sign, they'll know not to press down too hard. In my experience, the signatures look great! You can do a Google search to see a picture of the markers, they're super cool!

Thanks for stopping by the Moms Panel with your great question, Leslie! Please feel free to come back and visit us if there's anything else we can help with!

    Have a Pixie Dusted day!
