Hi there, Alex! Welcome to planDisney!
I love the idea of celebrating a birthday at
Walt Disney World Resort! Our family has done this from time to time, and it is truly a magical experience! As a guest staying at a Disney Resort hotel, you can have day guests visit you. You'll want to notify the front desk beforehand. Security Cast Members at the gate will ask for ID, as well as your name and room number. I am not aware of an official limit, and I suspect that it depends on many factors. During busy times, day guests may be turned away due to parking availability. It's best to speak with a resort Cast Member when you check in to find out specifics for your stay.
Resort pools are reserved for registered guests of the hotel only, so your day guests would not be able to join you, unfortunately. Guests included on the reservation would be allowed, so I would suggest adding them to your room if you have the capacity. Another option is to make a dining reservation to commemorate the occasion. It's my favorite way to celebrate, and guests with a valid dining reservation at a resort can park there.
I recently answered a question for another guest about celebrating a birthday that might have some ideas for you, so I'll link that
here. If you're interested in something bigger, Disney crafts some pretty incredible events. You can learn more about those
here.
Whatever you do, I hope it's the most magical birthday celebration yet, Alex! Please come back and see us here at
planDisney if you have any more questions!
