Thinking of getting annual passes. With them and packages do you get the discount still off off hotel or is it package or discount not both?

    Greetings to you, Sheryle!

Thanks for stopping back by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with another question for us. I'm more than happy to help. And I'm so glad to hear that you're thinking about purchasing Walt Disney World Resort Annual Passes! You'll get to experience the magic time and time again throughout the year, AND you'll also get lots of great discounts to go along with it. So I think you definitely wouldn't regret it if you decide to do it!

As an Annual Passholder, there's no need for you to purchase a traditional package since you won't need park tickets. So you can use any special offers available to Passholders to make a Disney Resort Hotel room-only reservation and then add a Dining Plan if you would like. The room-only discounts are usually a great savings, so this is definitely the best way to make a reservation if there is an offer available when you plan to travel. And if you have other family members traveling with you who won't have Annual Passes, then you can just purchase their tickets separately.

I hope this helps you with making your decision and if you decide to do it, then I hope you have an extra magical year enjoying your Annual Pass. If we can help with anything else, just let us know. Have a great day!
