I am thinking of flying in the morn. of the cruise. What time does the DCL shuttle leave the airport (Orlando) to get to the port? How much time will I need to deboard the plane and make it to the bus to get to port on time? What time does the boat leave?

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Jenn -

Planning for your upcoming cruise is a pretty exciting experience. If you choose to take the Disney Cruise Line Ground Transportation from the MCO airport to the port, you will need to make reservations either with your travel agent, or you can call the DCL Travel Desk directly at 1-800-951-3532. There is a charge of $35 per person each way, but it is so worth every penny since they really do take care of their guests and it is definitely the most convenient way to get your family to the port. The MCO airport motor coaches start their pickups at around 10am. You'll need to go to the Magical Express counters by Terminal B on the 1st floor and the agents will direct you to the next bus leaving for Port Canaveral. It's an easy walk from your plane's arrival gate, but you'll still want to allow about an hour to get yourself to the motor coaches.

Once you board the Disney Cruise Line motor coaches, it will be about an hour long ride from the airport to Port Canaveral. You can relax and watch some Disney TV while you are whisked to the port. The absolute latest boarding time is 4pm on embarkation day. Any second after that and you can be denied boarding, and no one wants that.

I hope this information helps, Jenn. Do let us know if you have any follow up questions - we're always happy to help

    Bon voyage,
