We're thinking about our first trip to DisneyLand to see the Star Wars celebrations surrounding May the Fourth. What tips/ideas/advice do have for us? We have a 7-year-old and a 4-year-old. Thanks!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Jill. Thanks for stopping by with your question regarding May the Fourth Star Wars celebration.

Some fun, not-to-miss experiences for your Star Wars-loving family can be found throughout Tomorrowland. Arrive early to register your younglings to participate in Jedi Training: Trials of the Temple. Young recruits learn how to use the Force to defeat the Dark Side. There are multiple show times throughout the day, but spots fill up quickly.

Don't forget to stop by Star Wars Launch Bay to check out replica props, models, artifacts, and costumes from the Star Wars films. Come face-to-face and confront Kylo Ren, or give a big hug to Chewbacca.

There are usually commemorative merchandise and fun activities planned throughout the day at Disneyland Park. Be sure to check out the Disney Parks Blog as May the Fourth 2017 nears to see what cool things are planned.

If you have further trip planning questions, please visit us on the Panel again. Wishing you a magical week, Jill!

Meet the Panelist: Kiki, California

Greetings! I have been fascinated by the magic of Disney since I was a little girl; now that I am a mother of two, I love watching my children experience Disney Parks through their own eyes. I am also surrounded by fellow Disney-loving nurse friends whom I enjoy quick adults-only Disneyland Resort escapes or Disney Cruise Line voyages with. Whether you are planning your once-in-a-lifetime family trip or a short adults-only getaway to the Happiest Place on Earth, I am here to help!
