We are thinking of going to Fantasmic on MLK at 6:30. If I get the Fantasmic dinner pkg. what time should I make a reservation at Hollywood and Vine? If I do the package am I guartanteed a spot at the Fantasmic show?

In my experience dining times for Fantasmic! dinner package reservations have always been quite limited.  By that I mean that reservations are not only difficult to obtain, especially if you don't call far enough out from your trip, but also that the times you will be offered are very limited.  Typically, reservations for the dinner package are very early evening times, often around 4:00 in the afternoon.  That's not to say that you can't get a later reservation, but they aren't readily available.

If you do take part in the dinner package, you will be given a special admission "ticket" after your meal.  The server will direct you to a special entrance to the Fantasmic! ampitheater.  You'll need to arrive there at least 30 minutes before showtime, and it wouldn't hurt to get there earlier than that.  While you are not guaranteed a seat, you are given admission to a reserved seating section.  Provided you arrive early enough there will be ample seats available.  At a certain point, that reserved seating section will be opened up for general admittance.  That's why it's important to arrive at least thirty minutes before the show starts.

My family has done the Fantasmic! dinner package many times and we've found it to be a convenient way to enjoy a delicious meal and a fabulous show without having to wait in a very long line to gain admission to the ampitheater.  Good luck!
