Hi There, Thinking of extending our trip by a few days, which means a different hotel and added tickets. Will it be treated as two trips with different bands or do I just use the first one and add to it? thanks again!!

    HI Marsha,

You can add all of the tickets for the entire stay at the start of your vacation. For example, if you are staying for 7 nights total (5 in one resort and 2 in another) and you want 8 days worth of tickets, just buy 8 days all at once when you arrive.

As far as the Magic Bands go, we stayed in three different Disney resorts in November. Upon check-in to each new resort, we were presented with a new set of iconic gray Magic Bands. However, we all wanted to continue using our colored bands that we had ordered ahead of time. So, we just had the front desk agent activate our existing Magic Bands for our new room and we told them to go ahead and recycle the gray ones. The exciting news is that I have been informed that since November, upgrades to the system have been made and your new reservation should be recognized on your first band without having to ask the front desk to activate it at the second resort. Just double check with the staff upon check-in to be sure.

    Wishing you a wonderful vacation,
