I was thinking of going to Epcot on November 12th for the Food & Wine Festival - just me and my 4yo. We arrive that afternoon. If I already have a 3day pass, how does it work? Do I need to get extra food tickets, do I pay there...help! Thank you.

Hi Rebecca, and thanks for stopping by to see us again at the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

How exciting that you and your little one will be visiting the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival! I never miss it, and now that we have a little guy of our own, we even bring him along. He's not the most adventurous eater, but we can always find something that he loves, too.

The Festival is included in your Theme Park admission, so you're all set with your existing 3-Day Tickets. You will pay for the food and drinks at each kiosk in the Park, which usually runs about $3-$8 or so per item. You can pay with cash, credit card, or by using Disney Dining Plan credits. But here's what we do. On the promenade between Future World and World Showcase, you'll see booths on either side selling merchandise like T-shirts, hats and other fun stuff. You can also buy Festival-themed Disney gift cards that you can wear on your wrist. We determine how much we'd like to spend and pick up a gift card in that amount. It's so much easier to use the gift card at the kiosks rather than fumbling for cash and collecting change. Your running balance will show on each receipt, and you can re-load the card if you run out before you've eaten your fill. But don't worry, you'll fill up fast on all the great eats there! Also, if you happen to have money left on your card, you can use it at almost any Walt Disney World shop or restaurant.

I hope this helps you and your little one enjoy the food-filled fun at the Festival, Rebecca. Have a magical Walt Disney World vacation, and do come visit us again soon.

    Keep Disney Dreaming,

    Kathy K.

Meet the Panelist: Kathy, Florida

I've lived my whole life just an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so I've been a regular visitor for as long as I can remember. Even after all these years and so many visits, I love that there's still so much to discover! Now that I'm a mom myself, seeing my favorite place through my son's eyes has given me a whole new perspective that I enjoy sharing with other parents of young children. Learn More About Kathy
