One of my favorite things about Disney World is that kids are welcome at just about any restaurant. Over the years, my husband and I have loved bringing our little ones along to fine-dining experiences at restaurants like
Narcoossee's,
Tiffins Restaurant, and
Jiko - The Cooking Place. And even in these upscale spots, Disney Cast Members always make my kids feel right at home! Best of all? In my experience, they're always happy to accommodate my kids' (somewhat limited) culinary palates!
Brianna, my family has enjoyed many delicious meals at Steakhouse 71, including my picky-eater kiddos. It's always a go-to when we're looking for a special dining experience at prices that don't make our heads spin! The food is fantastic (don't miss the Sauce Flight if you're ordering a steak!), and everyone in the family can find something they like. On our last visit, my son skipped the meat in his Kids' Entree and opted for an extra side instead. So I'm happy to report that you should have no problem making this kind of adjustment to your daughter's meal!
Before your visit, I recommend checking out the restaurant's
dinner menu on the Disney website. Be sure to take note of
all the side dish selections - including the "adult" options. As I mentioned, my son skipped the meat on our last visit and went with a side of macaroni and cheese instead - even though the macaroni and cheese is not specifically listed as a kids' side dish.
Our server at Steakhouse 71 that night was
beyond accommodating, and I'm still impressed by his kindness and attentiveness! He even noticed that my son was decidedly
not eating the macaroni and cheese after all, but had absolutely demolished his mashed potatoes. That incredible server showed up at our table, unprompted, with an extra bowl of potatoes. He handed the bowl to our smiling son, then bonded with him over a shared love of Figment. I couldn't submit that Cast Member Compliment fast enough!
Now, if you're looking for a magical way to end your evening, consider scheduling your meal before Magic Kingdom Park's
Happily Ever After fireworks. After dinner, head to the 4th floor of Disney's Contemporary Resort, where you can watch the spectacle from an observation deck that's open to the general public. They'll even pipe in the music!
