Ahoy, Anne! It's lovely to have you return to planDisney with another question. Welcome back!
Sailing onboard the
Disney Dream next November sounds like a wonderful way to celebrate the holiday season. If you'd like a holiday-themed sailing, be sure to book a
Very Merrytime itinerary. The halls will be decked, the ship will be sparkling, and the atmosphere will be jolly.
No matter which itinerary you choose, one thing is certain, there will be a plethora of
dining options to enjoy during your journey. I understand the concern to make sure your travel party is well accommodated. I thoroughly searched both the Special Requests and
Special Services forms and did not see an option to request smaller portions. However, you can always
call Disney Cruise Line and ask for them to make a note of this request on your reservation.
I also recommend that you speak to your server when you meet on the first night of your cruise. The dining services team will be working hard to make sure everyone is satisfied with their meal. Dinner is a multi-course experience. In order to have a pleasant meal, the family member in your party may prefer to order just one course, ask for smaller portions, or request that some of the sides of a dish be excluded.
When it comes to dining at
Remy, you may wish to make a reservation, and then speak with the Crew Members at Remy at least one day prior to your meal. The adult-exclusive Remy is a fine dining experience, with multiple tasting courses served throughout the meal at a fixed price. While the portions for each course are small, the experience is a filling one. The family member in your party who requires small portions may wish to speak to the team at Remy to better understand if this is a good option for them.
Anne, I'm hoping your plans are coming together well for a memorable sailing next year. Please visit planDisney again if you have additional questions. My pals and I will be here for you!
"Sea" you real soon!
