I am thinking about doing the WDW 1/2 next January followed the next weekend by the Tinkerbell 1/2. I want to get my second coast to coast medal. Am I making a mistake doing those races two wekends in a row. I finish in 2:50 running and walking.

Hi Bob!  I think that as long as you don't have any injuries, you will be fine.  You will probably want to plan to take it a little easier than normal during both races.  You probably won't set any personal records for either of them, but you can definitely earn the coast-to-coast medal.  And most importantly, you will be having tons of fun and will be running through both Disney parks within a week of each other.
I have completed half marathons that were a week apart.  I just try and listen to my body and make sure I am properly trained for them.  Again, take your time, slow down a bit, and just enjoy all of the Disney magic as you earn three awesome medals in just one week!  I got my first coast-to-coast this year, and it quickly became my favorite!  Good luck!
