We are thinking about doing a split stay between Port Orleans Riverside and Fort Wilderness. Is there somewhere we can leave our camper on the days we aren’t staying at Fort Wilderness?

    Hi Eric,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thanks for stopping by! I am LOVING your idea of spending some time in your camper in The Campsites at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort along with a stay at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside. Both resorts are so peaceful, and both offer fantastic recreation offerings. You’ll be able to have my favorite kind of Walt Disney World Resort vacation – a mix of theme park thrills and magical relaxation. Swoon!

I’ve seen campers and RVs in the parking lots of many Disney resort hotels, so I checked in with a Cast Member, who confirmed that you’ll be able to park your camper in the Guest parking at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside. Overnight self-parking fees will apply; the current nightly rate for Moderate resorts is $19 per night, which is added to your resort folio upon checkout (and please note that parking fees are subject to change at any time).

Have so much fun this summer, Eric! This is such a great time to be visiting Walt Disney World, with so many amazing things going on in the theme parks, so be sure to read the Disney Parks Blog for all the latest news about new attractions, shows, and treats you’ll be able to find during your visit. Enjoy every minute of planning your visit, and please come back and see us if we can help as you do your Disney dreaming!

    Wishing you a magical vacation,
    Robyn
