We were thinking about doing the specialty fireworks cruise on Sept 8 for the Mickey's not so scary Halloween fireworks on our last night at WDW. Is this fireworks show really "bigger/better" than the usual show?

Hi Stan! The last night of a great Disney vacation is always a sad night so planning something special is a great way to say good-bye!

Although the Wishes fireworks show is the most known at the Magic Kingdom, the specialty shows held during the park's special events are also quite spectacular. The Happy HalloWishes Fireworks will obviously have the Halloween theme with different music and colors. To say one is bigger or better is all in personal preference but I can say you will enjoy either and both and not regret taking the time to watch.

Booking a Disney Specialty Cruise to watch the Magic Kingdom fireworks is such a special gift to your family. You avoid the crowds and can sit back while floating on the waters and just enjoy the show. The music is piped into your boat so you won't miss a thing unless there is something low on the castle. I applaud your plans and know you will have the best possible "last" night!
