    was thinking of doing mickey's BYBBQ on feb 12 - in one place it says it is open and another it says it is only open march to dec - whats right? any comments on that dinner show?

    Hi Dawn!  Wow!!! Your Walt Disney World vacation is right around the corner.  I'm sure you are getting really excited!

    Mickey's Backyard BBQ is a seasonal dinner show taking place on Thursdays and Saturdays from March through December, so unfortunately it will not be offered during your stay.

    Even though Mickey's Backyard BBQ is not available in February, you can still have a knee slappin' good time at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort, home to Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue.  Hoop-Dee-Doo is an old-timey musical dinner show featuring nostalgic slap-stick comedy and a delicious all-you-care-to-eat family-style meal which includes all your southern favorites: Ribs, Fried Chicken, Cowboy Beans, the most delicious cornbread EVER, and yummy strawberry shortcake dessert!  Not to mention, Beer and Sangria is included for guests over 21.

    While Hoop-Dee-Doo doesn't feature Disney characters as opposed to Mickey's Backyard BBQ, guests of all ages will have a blast listening to the silly piano ballads while watching unassuming audience members be pulled into the show by my the actors including my favorite Hoop-Dee-Doo character, the boisterous Claire de Lune!  YOU could be one of them!!!

    Hoop-Dee-Doo has quickly become one of my family's favorite Walt Disney World experiences and I'm sure you will love it!  Hoop-Dee-Doo is a popular show, so be sure to book your reservations as soon as possible online or by calling (407)WDW-DINE. -Amanda
