Hi Equilla!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am so excited to hEAR you are considering setting sail with Captain Mickey AND the Marvel Superheroes! My family went on the very first Marvel Day at Sea voyage and it was so much fun!
Currently,
Marvel Day at Sea itineraries are aboard the Disney Magic and are on select sailings that depart from the Port of Miami. Unfortunately, Disney Cruise Line does not offer any sort of transportation to or from Miami from Walt Disney World Resort or Orlando. The distance between the two cities is approximately 4 hours, so if you were trying to get from one to another, I think the best option would be to rent a car and drive yourself. If you are looking at other airports to fly into that would get you to Miami, I can recommend that flying into Fort Lauderdale International Airport (FLL) is a great option! In fact, my family always flies into Fort Lauderdale when embarking on a voyage that departs from Miami. Then, we rent a one-way car to get us from Fort Lauderdale to Miami.
In
order to travel with a minor that is not your own, the minor’s parent or guardian would have to complete the ‘Authorization for Minor to Travel Without a Parent or Legal Guardian’ form which authorizes another adult to retain care, custody and control of the minor during a Disney Cruise Line vacation. A form is required for each child traveling without his/her parent or guardian and only requires the signature of one parent or legal guardian. Upon check-in at the port for embarkation, this form must be presented.
Hopefully this helps answer some questions you had about booking what is sure to be a MARVELous and memorable adventure at sea!
