Thinking of doing after hours event at HS. Staying at pop century. What transportation will be available to get us back after the event to our resort?

    Hiya Kathleen!

Thank you so much for stopping by planDisney again with your question about Disney's Hollywood Studios After Hours! My daughter and I had the chance to go, and it truly felt like stepping right into our own movie scene. We met rare characters like Bert from Mary Poppins and Thumper from Bambi, rode attractions with little to no wait, and enjoyed all the popcorn and treats we could grab. It really felt like we had the whole park to ourselves.

Let’s jump right into your question! I had a chance to speak with a friendly Cast Member, and they informed me that the Skyliner is typically available for up to 60 minutes after the park closes, even on special-event nights. With that said, when my daughter and I attended After Hours, the Skyliner was not running that particular night. But, no worries at all! Disney always has a backup plan. If the Skyliner is unavailable, Disney buses will be running to take you back to Pop Century. Transportation is always so well organized, and you never have to worry about being stranded.

Another great perk of your After Hours ticket is that you can enter the park as early as 7:00 PM. That gives you time to grab dinner, explore a bit, or even catch Fantasmic!, which is such an incredible mix of water, fire, and Disney storytelling.

Kathleen, I hope this helps you feel ready for an amazing night at Hollywood Studios! If you have any more questions, please feel free to visit us again.

    See you real soon!
