    Hello! Thinking of doing my first runDisney 10K Wine and Dine. If staying at BC, can I walk to Epcot for start of race? How will my family get to finish line to watch if Epcot is closed and no busses to Epcot (or will it be open for spectators?). Thanks!

    Hi Melanie! Happy New Year!

    I'm so glad you're going to join the runDisney family! The 10K is a great distance and I think you will love runDisney's Wine and Dine Half Marathon weekend.  

    Since the race begins before Epcot opens, you will need to take the special runDisney bus transportation to the start area. Buses will run from host resorts beginning a few hours before the race starts. Your family can also use the same buses to get to the finish line to cheer you in!

    As it gets closer to your race weekend, there will be exact bus times and detailed instructions for your event.  You'll be able to find them on the runDisney website and you will also receive an email a couple of weeks before the race with a link to a race weekend guide. It will have all the information you need! It looks like registration for Wine and Dine is scheduled to open on March 13, 2018. You can also sign up for email reminders for all runDisney news and events.
