Another? Thinking about doing Fantasmic Dinner pkg - don't think girls (4 and 2) will wait 90 minutes for a show to start. What are your thoughts on this and how does it work exactly? What time would you make your ADR for? Can't get enough of panel!

    Hi Carla!

Thanks for writing!  In my opinion, the Fantasmic Dinner Package is a great way to see the show without having to wait for a long time before it starts to guarantee seats.  Fantasmic doesn't run every evening, which makes it very popular (and often very crowded).  In some case, folks start lining up for seats almost two hours early.  My kids, like your are not big fans of waiting for hours no matter what the reward.  By booking a dinner package, you can dine at one of three restaurants at Hollywood Studios including:  Brown Derby, Mama Melrose's, and Hollywood and Vine. A Fantasmic Dinner package allows you to walk right up to reserved seating for the show. Other than dinner, there is no additional charge for the package, but you are required to leave a credit card to hold the reservation.

We did this package a number of times, and our favorite pre-show dinner choice is Mama Melrose.  It serves delicious Italian food and even better Sangria!  My kids swear the pizza is the best at Disney.  After your meal, you'll be given a voucher to bring to a special entrance to the theater.  You should still arrive about thirty minutes early even with the vouchers.  The reserved seats were great and the show was amazing!  You can make reservations by calling the Disney Dining Line at (407) 939-3463.

I hope you enjoy the show!
