    I am thinking about doing the fantasmic dining package on our trip in October. I am thinking about making ressie at Mama Melrose, what time should I make the ressie for? I think we would like to do the later show but might end up doing the earlier show.

    The beauty of the Fantastic Dining Package at Disney's Hollywood Studios is that you don't have to eat just prior to the show and head straight there. After dining--whether it's lunch or dinner--you'll be given VIP passes to a reserved section for Fantasmic! with your own private entrance. On days where there are two Fantasmic! shows, VIP passes are given for the first showing only.

    At a minimum, you need to choose a dining time at least 2 to 2 and a half hours before the first show because you need to arrive for Fantasmic! at least 30 minutes in advance, it will take about 10 minutes to walk from the restaurant to the entrance, and I'd give yourself an hour and a half to eat. Keep in mind, though, that you can choose a dining time as early as lunch time if that works better with your schedule.
