We are thinking about doing an extra night at AKL savannah view for our trip next year if we decide to stay non cl. Since the 4th floor is mixed rooms if we decide to do part of our stay cl and some non cl would we be able to stay in same room?

Hi, Nicholas! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I love that you are thinking of adding an extra bit of magic to your Walt Disney World Resort vacation by staying at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge! Can it get any better than waking up to zebras and giraffes out of your Savannah View balcony!? If you plan on having 2 separate reservations under different room types (Club Level vs Savannah View), you will most likely be asked to switch rooms. I would ask the friendly Cast Member at check-in to see what your options would be as sometimes, they have great last-minute upgrades for a minimal cost. This might allow you to stay in the same room! One year, we stayed at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge under 2 separate reservations and room types and we were asked to switch rooms. We let Bell Services bring our luggage to the new room so it was definitely a pain-free experience!

I hope that you have a “wild” time at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge. Be sure to request a Disney Resort hotel recreation guide as I find that this resort offers so many exciting experiences including a resort architecture tour! Come and see us again real soon,
