Hi, Tammie! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
I’m pretty excited that you are thinking about the
Fireworks Dessert Party at Tomorrowland Terrace! I think that one of the major benefits is that you have a comfortable, seated area to watch the all-new Happily Ever After Fireworks show, which, as you can imagine, tends to get quite busy! There are also some pretty delicious desserts to enjoy and sparkling cider and other tasty treats! Although it has to be paid in full at the time of booking, you can always cancel it as per the cancellation policy that you will see upon making your reservation and which will also be emailed to you. Generally, cancellations must be made at least 24 hours ahead of time to avoid any fees.
That being said, I have always found that fireworks dessert parties are too much of a financial commitment for my entire family. If I were traveling with a friend or with my husband, then I would probably consider it a little more. I prefer to purchase my desserts and sit and wait for the fireworks. If I were to go to a fireworks dessert party, I would most likely select the
Frozen Ever After Dessert Party at Epcot. With it, you get to experience the popular Frozen Ever After attraction, have prime seating for IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth, eat sweet treats AND it includes alcohol!
Remember that you can make your Advanced Dining Reservation for these special events up to 180 days in advance! I hope that my answer has helped you decide! Have a magical vacation and have fun indulging that sweet tooth! See you again real soon,
Jen
