    My DH and I are thinking about doing the Castaway 5K in Oct. Is there a place to store our bag we need for the rest of the day on the island or do we need to go back to the ship to get it? Are 9 year olds allowed to participate? Grandson wants to go, too.

    I hope you are looking forward to your fall sailing with Disney Cruise Line! I also think participating in the Castaway Cay 5K fun run while docked at Disney's private island is a great way to start a magically tropical day. 

    You will not need to return to the ship to retrieve your day-bag, there will be large bins for runners to place their gear in while participating in the fun run. Officially the required age is 10 years old, but I do not believe their will not be an issue with your nine year old grand prince running along with you.
