Hi. I am thinking about going to Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort not renting the cabins but staying in a motorhome on a camping site. 4 adults and 2 kids ages 5.5 yrs old. Does anyone have anymore info or feedback on this place for camping? Is it far MK?

Camping at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort will spoil you so much you might not be able to handle regular campgrounds after your visit.

Luxurious, air conditioned comfort stations, cable TV hook-ups, awesome recreation options, and all the benefits of staying at a Walt Disney World Resort make this economical choice a great place to camp. This resort covers a large, wooded area and has its own internal bus system. The Magic Kingdom is only a boat ride. Fishing, horseback riding, golf cart, boat, and bike rentals, tennis courts, and pools are all available here. Two dinner shows, a buffet restaurant, quick service options, and a trading post provide multiple meal options and the beach provides a great view of the Electric Water Pageant. One of the wonderful, hidden gems of WDW is held nightly at Fort Wilderness, the Chip'n Dale's Campfire Sing-a-long. Roast marshmallows for s'mores, meet Chip'n Dale, sing some campfire songs, and then enjoy a classic Disney movie under the stars.

Please contact me if you need additional information. Wishing you a magical camping experience!
