We were thinking of going to Disneyland 1/2-1/5. I was wondering if the holiday decorations will still be up and when do they come down.

Hi there, Susan. Welcome to planDisney!

I’m delighted to see you’re planning a trip to the Happiest Place on Earth shortly after the New Year. I love visiting Disneyland Resort during the Holidays. There’s something very magical about the festive décor, cooler weather, and the joyous spirit throughout the parks!

I’m happy to report that Holidays at the Disneyland Resort will run from November 12, 2021 to January 9, 2022. This means holiday decorations will be adorning the parks during your visit. Aside from the spectacular decorations, did you know there are other fun festivities and celebrations as well? Don’t miss A Christmas Fantasy Parade and “Believe…In Holiday Magic” fireworks while you’re at Disneyland Park.

Across the Esplanade, Disney Festival of Holidays will take place at Disney California Adventure Park during the same time frame. It’s filled with diverse festivities and beloved seasonal traditions – including Christmas, Kwanzaa, Diwali, Three Kings Day, and Hanukkah!

Be sure to check out Disneyland.com and Disney Parks Blog for the latest park news. If you have more trip-planning questions, please feel free to write us again. We’re all EARS!

    See ya real soon,

Meet the Panelist: Kiki, California

Greetings from Northern California! I have been fascinated by the magic of Disney since I was a little girl; now that I am a mother of two, I love watching my children experience Disney Parks through their own eyes. I am also surrounded by fellow Disney-loving nurse friends whom I enjoy quick adults-only Disneyland Resort escapes with. Whether you are planning your once-in-a-lifetime family trip or a short adults-only getaway to the Happiest Place on Earth, I am here to help!
