Hi, Jessica!
I’m glad to hear you’re planning a trip to the
Disneyland Resort. The summer months are an exciting time to visit “The Happiest Place on Earth” because the entertainment schedule is bustling and the weather is perfect for sunny days by the pool!
If this is your first visit, I suggest that you plan to stay for at least four days to experience all the resort has to offer, from the action-packed Downtown Disney District to the theme parks, including the
Cars Land expansion and new Buena Vista Street at Disney California Adventure Park.
Fantasy Faire, a whimsical storybook village in Fantasyland, just opened this month right next to Sleeping Beauty Castle. It’s an enchanting world where the stories of Disney's fairy tale princesses and princes come to life!
If you’re considering staying on-property, each of the three Disneyland Resort Hotels has its own unique benefits. Paradise Pier Hotel is typically the least expensive and the rooms have a bright, beach-inspired decor. Rooms at the Disneyland Hotel are quite large for standard accommodations and have been recently renovated to include chic, modern furnishings with a touch of Disney magic, including carved wooden headboards featuring fiber-optic fireworks for your very own in-room light and music show with the flip of a switch! My personal favorite is Disney’s Grand Californian Resort & Spa because it’s the closest to the parks and features a private entrance into Disney California Adventure Park.
I hope this information is helpful, Jessica. Please write back with any other questions you may have as you plan your pixie-dusted vacation!
Wishing you magic,
Courtney
