    We are thinking about going to Disneyland for my daughter's birthday, she would be turning 3 the 2nd day of the trip. My husband is military so we plan on using military salute tickets, would we need to buy one for our daughter?

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. As a fellow military wife, I'd first like to thank your husband for his service. Disneyland Resort's specially priced 3-Day and 4-Day Park Hopper Tickets for active and retired military service members are one of the most discounted offers available. These tickets are intended for Guests three years of age and older. This would mean that starting on day 2, your daughter would require a ticket. Lucky for you, the price of a 3-Day military park ticket is still significantly cheaper than a regular 3-Day or even 2-Day child ticket. It really is a fantastic deal. Alternatively you can try to plan your vacation a few days before your daughter's birthday while still celebrating to save on her park admission. You will still be able to grab her a complimentary birthday button to mark the occasion.

    I did want to let you know about a couple other great military benefits available to you at the Disneyland Resort. I advise calling to book your Disneyland Resort Hotel room and asking if any military rates are available. There are a limited number of these specially priced rooms at each of the three Disneyland Resort Hotels. Also as a military service member you can get a specially priced Disney PhotoPass Collection product in Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park. This gives you unlimited downloads of all Disney PhotoPass pictures in your account at time of redemption. We found this to be so worth it!
