Carleigh, September is a great time to visit! The summertime crowds have settled significantly because school is reopening across the country! Guests can also enjoy Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at Magic Kingdom! More on that great event in a moment!
While just about any week in September is a good time to visit, I recommend avoiding the week closest to Labor Day. Holidays can get a little crowded at Disney World, so it might be best to visit during the second through fourth week of September 2027.

Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. This seasonal soiree can be enjoyed on select nights at Magic Kingdom from early August through Halloween night. Dress in costume, trick-or-treat through the park, enjoy favorite Disney characters in their Halloween attire, and visit Halloween-themed attractions! Additionally, Guests love Mickey’s Boo-to-You Halloween Parade! My favorites are the Haunted Mansion gravediggers and the Headless Horseman!
