    we are thinking of disney world for november 11 - 19th...do you think it will be busy or be ok? its not one of the highlighted weeks...its a long way to go for us and don't want to spend a long time standing in lineups. thanks for your help

    Hi Fiona.    The time you are considering is a fine one.    I believe you are referring to the Great Times to Visit site which indicates ideal times to visit based upon crowds, weather and cost.

     

    While you may notice that only half of your potential stay is highlighted as ideal, I know from experience this is a relatively good time to visit from a crowd perspective.    Given that we also love the weather during that time of year, we often pick the few weeks before Thanksgiving to visit.   We have always been very pleased with the reasonable crowds.   As an added bonus, we start seeing the holiday attractions being introduced (although full holiday festivities do not kick-in until Thanksgiving or shortly thereafter).    

     

    So, if crowds are you primary concern, wouldn't worry too much.    Its well work the trip!
