We are thinking about going to Disney the week before Christmas. Is this considered one of the busiest times of the year?

    Hi Tina,

The week between Christmas and New Year is usually one of the busiest weeks of the entire year.

According to the Crowd Calendar on the unofficial website www.touringplans.com the crowd level will be at its maximum of 10/10 from Saturday 22 December 2012 - Wednesday 2 January 2013.

During the week prior to the 22 December 2012 the crowd levels vary from 4/10 to 8/10 and I would certainly expect it to be fairly busy during this time.

That said, my family love to visit over Christmas and New Year as there is just something even more magical about a visit to Walt Disney World during the holidays - the decorations are just beautiful and like nothing else that you will have seen before.

Wishing you a magical trip filled with memories which will last a lifetime!
