We are thinking about going to Disney Thanksgiving week. We have been at Christmas before and it was busier than we like. Will Thanksgiving week be the same way? What are the crowds like that week?

What's up, Mendi! Our family will be in Disney World over Thanksgiving too. We've been doing some planning ahead of time because the parks are going to be packed with crowd levels that eclipse even the mighty Bieber. From Tuesday of Thanksgiving week until the end of Thanksgiving weekend, it will be crowded. It's one of the most crowded times of the year. Will it be less crowded than Christmas? Marginally. The silver lining is that when large crowd levels are anticipated, the parks generally have longer operating hours. Take advantage of the morning Extra Magic Hours, follow a good touring plan, take a midday break and return to the parks after the peak afternoon crowds dissipate. See you there!
