    we are thinking about going to disney in the beging of 2013 maybe march or april. would like to know if there is going to be a free dining plan. if not do you know when there wil be,becaure we would not be able to come if there is not one.there is 5 of use

    Hi Gail!

    The Disney Dining Plan has usually been a very good option for my family. 

    From time to time, Disney will offer a special promotion with their Resort Reservations that has been called "Free Dining."  These promotions are usually announce within a few weeks or months of the actual promotion, and cannot be combined with Resort discounts or other packages.  So, it may not be the best deal for your family, depending upon the type of reservations you are making, or which packages you are using to book your trip to Disney.

    However, if you have made a reservation for a Disney Resort, and a special promotion for "Free Dining" is announced for that time period, after your reservation is made but prior to arrival, Disney will apply it to your reservation if it falls within the parameters of the promotion.  You will simply need to call or email your Disney Reservations to ask them if you qualify and ask them to apply it toward your reservations if you do.

    Though these deals for 2013 are not being promoted yet, they do normally happen during times of the year when crowd levels are lower, such as Winter, or late Summer or early Fall.  However, please keep in mind that there is no guarantee that Disney will offer this special "Free Dining" plan in 2013.
