We are thinking of a cruise on Disney Dream & our kids will be 4 & 2. Since the 2 year old will not be able to do with 4 year old things (pools, Oceaneers Club, Boutique, etc) I'm afraid our family will be separated. Any experience/advice here?

    Hi there, Stephanie!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!  I am so glad you found us while researching a Disney Cruise Line vacation!

First off, I am so excited that you are considering a Disney Cruise Line vacation.  They truly are the best vacation for all ages!  I have so many sweet memories of my boys traveling onboard so young; they see the magic in it all – well, we all do! – but it’s extra special to see it alongside them!  I understand your concern about being split up throughout, but I want to assure you that I don’t see that being the case completely.  Certainly there are a few things that have a minimum age of three such as the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique or admittance to the Oceaneers Club and Lab, but there are so many more things that you will be able to do as a family!  When we cruised with a three year old and a two year old, we were concerned about the separation at the Youth Club vs nursery, but it really ended up not being an issue with our boys.  They enjoyed having “their own special club” to attend.  Your four year old will also enjoy the Nemo’s Reef; in fact my boys prefer it to the pools!

The Daily Navigator will list a detailed schedule of all activities and entertainment each day for you to plan your day around.  Most of the scheduled activities onboard will be very family-friendly and cater to all ages.  Dance parties, character greetings, the new 'Beauty and the Beast' live show – these are things that ALL ages will enjoy!

I SO hope you do decide to book a magical Disney Cruise Line vacation! If you have any more questions during your planning, please do not hesitate to visit us again!

    Happy Planning!
