We are thinking of coming to Disneyland on New Year's Eve with our 2 boys ages 6 and 9. Are there any special events that night? and which of the 2 parks are best for their ages?

    Dear Sari,
Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
You have chosen a magical time to visit the Happiest Place on Earth... what a wonderful way to welcome the New Year!
If it's your first time visiting the Disneyland Resort with your boys, I would suggest you keep it classic with a visit to Walt Disney's very first theme park–– Disneyland!
At Disneyland, your sons will be able to enjoy Tomorrowland with such attractions as Buzz Lightyear's Astro Blasters, Space Mountain and the Star Wars Tomorrowland Terrace.
When you head to New Orleans Square, you'll have a chance to ride the Pirates of the Caribbean, Haunted Mansion Holiday and in neighboring Adventureland, you can enjoy the Indiana Jones Adventure!
As far as special New Year's Eve events, you'll be thrilled to know Disneyland will be open until 2am on December 31!
Make sure you watch the amazing "Believe...in Holiday Magic" Fireworks spectacular!
You can count on special dining menus to ring in the new year at table service restaurants like the Blue Bayou.
If you reserve a table in advance, you won't have to worry about standing in long lines for a delicious Mickey meal...hehe
There is also an amazing dining package offering for Fantasmic! a show you don't want to miss!
If you purchase the Fantasmic! Dining Package, you get a delicious meal and vouchers to a preferred seating area for Fantasmic!
    I hope this helps.
Wishing you much faith, trust and pixie dust in 2018!
    ChEARs!
