We are thinking of coming to Disney in December of 2015. Is the weather in Orlando too cool this time of year to swim in the resort pool? We are looking at staying at Kidani Village. Is the pool heated?

Hi Laurie! I love Walt Disney World Resort in December! From spectacular holiday decorations to themed attractions and events it's truly a magical time to visit.

You'll be happy to know Samawati Springs Pool and Uwanja Camp at Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village are heated for year round splashing fun. In general, the temperatures at Disney World Resort in December range from highs in the mid 70s to lows in 50s. While the water will be warm, the air might be cool so I would suggest a warm cover-up. Temperatures definitely dip in the evenings so be sure to pack a jacket for nighttime visits to the theme parks.

Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village is by far the most exotic and culturally enriching vacation spots you'll come across at Walt Disney World Resort. Enjoy taking in all the excitement!

Wishing you a magical and memorable Disney vacation!
