I am thinking of buying tickets for my best friend and her family ,as a gift, when I go to FL in June. They live in FL but, I live in TX. Am I able to purchase the tickets at the FL resident rate since I am giving them to people who live in FL?

Hello from one fellow Texan to another!  Welcome to the Moms Panel!

You are too sweet!  Your friends are very lucky to have you as a friend.  Receiving Walt Disney World tickets as a gift is simply priceless.

In order to purchase Florida Resident Tickets, you would need to provide proof of residence.  Unfortunately, being from Texas (~well, as far as ticket discounts are concerned~), you would not be able to surprise them with tickets at a discounted price.  If you really have your mind set on purchasing tickets for them, may I suggest Disney Gift Cards.  This way, they can purchase their tickets and use their gift cards as payment. Make sure that they provide proof of residence in order to receive their Florida Resident Discount.

~Have a MAGICAL day and "SEE YOU REAL SOON"!~
