Hi! We are thinking about buying a one day park ticket in October. I see that it’s the Halloween party that night. We do not think we want to attend this event. Does that mean we have to leave the park before that event starts?

    Hi Jill!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I am happy to help you plan your quick trip to visit Walt Disney World Resort and I think you are picking a great time to visit because I love enjoying Magic Kingdom in the autumn! If you will be visiting Magic Kingdom on a day when Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party will be held in the evening, then your standard theme park ticket will give you access to the attractions and entertainment in the theme park from the park's opening until 7:00 p.m., when the party starts. At that point, Guests who do not have party tickets will be directed to the park exit and only Guests with party tickets and wristbands will be able to enjoy the theme parks' attractions and party's special entertainment.

My family has visited Magic Kingdom on days where the theme park is hosting an evening special event and if we are not attending that evening's party, we have often ended those days by enjoying one of the fantastic restaurants at Walt Disney World Resort or visiting Disney Springs to experience its dining and entertainment. That could be a great way to end your magical Disney day!

Please let us know if you have any other questions as you continue to plan your trip. T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
